Asuncion Ledesma (Lira)
August 15, 1935 – May 14, 2025
Asuncion Ledesma (Lira), 89, of Sunnyvale, California, passed away peacefully from cancer on May 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesus (Jesse) Lira, and later by Antonio Ledesma. Asuncion is survived by her five children, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She will be remembered for her strength, devotion to family, and deep Catholic faith.
Funeral Services
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 11, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary (466 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara), followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 12, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Church (593 Central Ave, Sunnyvale), with burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
