Augustina Bonilla

Augie joined her beloved husband Jack(Jay) of 67 years, peacefully at her home at the age of 96. Survived by her loving sister Isabel Cosmes of Watsonville, (Manuel predeceased). Born to Tony and Isabel Blasquez(predeceased) who were originally from Spain. Augie graduated from Fremont High School and enjoyed many events as a member of Sociedad Cervantes and Spanish Heritage Club. She called herself, ”Jay’s Co-Pilot” through life. Traveling the world was a passion they enjoyed throughout their 67 years of marriage. Augie will be remembered as a “Ava Gardner” look alike. As a beautician, she always looked beautiful from head to toe, inside and out. Augie is survived by nieces, Mary Meeder(Toby), Pat Medeiros(Paul), God Daughter Nancy Dreyer Saign(Pat) and Kathy Bonilla. Augie was blessed with many great nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Augie is predeceased by Primo Bonilla(Ella), Philip and Anne Labrador and nephew Jerry Labrador(Kathy). The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her loving caregivers, Betty Mendoza, Glen, King and Queenie Galang. A special gratitude to Hospice of the Valley specifically Megan Rumzie and Kathryn Boyle and staff. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Interment will follow in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
