

Barbara (Mestressat) Arigoni On February 14, 2025, Barbara (Mestressat) Arigoni left this world to reunite with her beloved husband, Richard Arigoni on Valentine’s day. They shared forty-one wonderful years together before his passing.
Barbara was predeceased by her loving parents, Alfred and Clara Mestressat. She was an amazing person who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed - especially by her son, Robert Doudell; her brother, Alfred Mestressat (Suzanne); as well as numerous cousins, dear friends, and extended family.
Barbara attended Willow Glen High School and graduated in 1962, maintaining lifelong friendships with many of her classmates. She had a passion for travel and explored many countries around the world, always seeking new adventures and discovering the best shopping wherever she went.
Earlier in her career, Barbara worked in the banquet department at Marriott, where she developed an exceptional talent for event planning. She later brought those skills to the San Jose and Santa Clara Elks, where she made every event memorable. From elegant table settings to stunning floral arrangements, her creativity and attention to detail were unmatched.
Barbara was a woman of strong conviction—you always knew where you stood with her, she spoke her truths with honesty and warmth. To be her friend was to be embraced by unwavering loyalty and kindness. Whether offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply sharing a cup of coffee, Barbara was always present for those she loved.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and treasured memories. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
