Bennie S. Turturici

Bennie Salvatore Turturici entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014. During his 89 years, he touched many lives with his big smile and enduring love for family and friends. He was a loving son, husband, brother, Dad, and Nano. He loved sports—from his days as a talented 3rd baseman, to a gifted Little League coach, and unwavering SF Giants fan. Bennie was born to Joe and Connie Turturici in San Francisco and graduated from San Jose High School. Following graduation, Bennie served in the U.S. Army. Bennie met his wife Helen and they built their life and family together in San Jose. Bennie and Helen retired to Hollister in 1998 to live and play on Ridgemark Golf Course. Bennie is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Helen; loving children David, Douglas, and Carolyn (Spain); caring son-in law Bill; adoring granddaughter Samantha; dear sister Marie (Romero); and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will be held from 11am-1pm on Thursday, Jan. 9 followed by a Funeral service at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N Winchester Blvd. Internment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
