Catherine Grace Gottwals

Catherine Grace Nicosia Gottwals was born in Jamestown, New York on March 24, 1941, to Thomas Loria Nicosia and Lucy Mary Mistretta Nicosia. Cathy was the youngest child & only girl in her family, joining older brothers, Joseph (Joe) and John to complete their family of five.

The Nicosia family moved to California when Cathy was around 10 years old.

Cathy married David Frederick Gottwals on June 19, 1960.

Cathy and David had 3 sons; Dave, Steve and Craig, which completed their family of five.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Lucy, and her brothers, Joe & John.

Surviving family members include her husband, David, sons and daughter-in-laws: Dave & Lisa, Steve & Alison, Craig & Diana, Melanie & Scott, grandchildren: Andrew, Nicole (Derrick), Sarah (Adam), Matthew, Brendt, Israel, Diana, Genesis, Aryanna, Ezekiel & great granddaughter Lily.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send a donation in Cathy’s name to the charity of your choice.
