January 13, 1930- July 18, 2011
Gus was born in Astoria, New York; he was a veteran of the Korean War. In 1958, after he becane a court reporter he got his first job in Columbus, Ohio and moved there. It was while he was a resident of Columbus he met his wife of 51 years, Kaliope Constant. There wasn't been a day that he didn't mention how grateful he was to have met her and that she was the best thing to have ever happend to him. Furthermore, while living in Ohio his first daughter Cleo was born and he became the happiest man alive. From there Gus moved his family to California in 1962 where he continued his career as court reporter for both San Mateo and Santa Clara County Courts. It wasn't long after when his beautiful second daughter Christine was born. Other than living day by day for his family, his hobby was fishing until he discovered his real passion was ballroom dancing and tap dancing. He was a member of the AHEPA of Santa Clara County and parishioner of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodax Church. Everybody knew Gus as a fun joy, social, and loving man who always had a camera in his hand ready to capture all the wonderful moments of his life. Other than leaving behind his wonderful wife Kaliope Constant, and his daughters Cleo Bozzuto wife of Mike Bozzuto and Christine Constant, he left behind his two grandchildren in which he loved more that life, Jennifer and Christopher Hay.
