Dale W. Park

Dale W. Park, 48, of Santa Clara, passed away on November 13, 2022 after a cardiac arrest. Dale was born on April 10, 1974 to Kisung and Kwang-ock Park in Guam. After Dale graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1992, he went on to study Geography at the University of California, Santa Barbara but had a passion for computers and technology and worked part time at the university computer lab, kickstarting his career in IT. After graduating UCSB, he continued his IT career at Sun Microsystems and then on to Salesforce.

While visiting the Sun Microsystems Canadian office, Dale met Stephanie and tied the knot in 2007. Dale and Stephanie went on to have a daughter, Izzy, in 2010.

Dale’s thirst for knowledge was boundless…continuously reading and learning. He was knowledgeable in so many subjects and a deep thinker which brought on so many, many philosophical conversations that will be missed. His smile was contagious and kindness deep and selfless…touching many hearts.

Dale also had a deep love of music and piano playing and enjoyed sharing his pieces with friends and family. We will cherish them always.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, father, mother, sister, and brother-in-law.

A visitation for Dale will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
