Donald was born in San Jose,Ca in 1932 to Isaac and Lucille Bunce Loving husband of the late Anita Bunce. Donald is survived by his sons, Don (Nancy), Steve, Scott (Liz), as well as his brother James Bunce of Morgan Hill. Predeceased by brother, David Bunce.
Loving Grandfather of Nicole, Adam, Brian, Ashley, Zachary and Jacob. Great grandfather of Todd Jr, Samantha, Malia, Evelyn, Gianna, Bodhi and Kaliope.
His greatest hobby was playing the banjo and singing for many years at Shakey's Pizza and Scarlett LaRue's. Donald was a member of the Peninsula Banjo Band. He played in many honky-tonks in different states.
A memorial service for Donald will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life following the service.
