Our beloved mom, friend, companion and cheerleader, Dorothy, joined her Lord on Tues. Feb. 21. Born in San Jose and a graduate of Gustine HS, she married Raymond T. Walsh in 1947and had 2 children. Dorothy worked in retail and with the San Jose Medical Group. She became a widow in 1985 and lived with her youngest daughter, Linda, until her passing. She retired in 2001 and spent her time with her cats, knitting afghans, watching soaps and playing bingo at the Santa Clara Vanguard. Dorothy leaves behind an extended family from the San Joaquin Valley, and two daughters: Diane of Philadelphia, PA and Linda (long time employee of Mervyns), who will remember her laughter and unconditional love every day. Friends and family are invited to visit Mon. Feb. 27 from 5 to 9 pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd. and a Rosary Vigil at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tues. Feb. 28 at 10 am at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 4848 Pearl Ave. in SJ, with interment following in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
