Elizabeth, known as Lizzy, came into our world on October 8, 1993. As a toddler, she was very curious and full of spunk and energy and interested in the world around her. She attended St. Lawrence Elementary School in Santa Clara, CA from Pre-K through 5th grade. While at St. Lawrence, she participated in basketball, volleyball, Safety Patrol and Girl Scouts.
Starting in the 6th grade, she transferred to Holy Spirit School in Almaden. Again at Holy Spirit, she continued with basketball, volleyball and also played recreational and traveling softball for 3 years. Upon graduating from 8th grade at Holy Spirit, she continued in the Catholic educational school system and attended Presentation High School in San Jose, where again she participated in basketball, cross country and track and field. She was an avid runner and enjoyed the challenge of distance running. While at Presentation, she developed and refined her exceptional writing skills. Among her many talents, she self-taught the piano/keyboard and had a flair for drawing.
After graduating from Presentation High School in 2011, she attended the University of Arizona. After one semester, she returned home and decided to attend West Valley College. While at West Valley, she worked part-time as a Lifeguard for the Town of Los Gatos Parks and Recreation Department, a job she truly loved. Lizzy reapplied and was readmitted to the University of Arizona, planning to return this fall and eventually graduate with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. Her long term goal was to go on to law school and become a successful attorney.
Lizzy was a talented and beautiful young girl who left behind many friends who will miss her and a family that will love her forever and ever.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 4:00p.m at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Santa Clara, California.
