Frances June Irwin passed away at the age of 93 in Gilroy, California. She was born in San Jose, graduated from San Jose High School and lived in San Jose for the majority of her life where she raised her 4 children. She was a beautiful artist – loved painting, working in her garden and loved Tony Bennett. As a teen, she loved her time with her dad, John LaMantia working the family business, LaMantia Orchards, book keeping/accounting and helping her mom Grace in the kitchen. Once her children were grown, she worked as a secretary for IBM, Dole and a Receptionist for Dr Ostroff OD downtown San Jose. Frances is survived by 3 children – John Irwin, Brad Irwin and Wendy. Preceded in death is Cindy Baldasano. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
Frances will be laid to rest on December 23rd @ Santa Clara Mission Cemetery
