The first vivid memory of you was on your wedding day with oom Johan. I know that I must have met you several times before because I lived with my mum at oma Bonte's, the mother of oom Johan. I was so excited because you had chosen me to be your bridesmaid and I could were a lovely long dress and I loved you for that and for the fact that you were going to be my tante. My beautiful, blond aunty, who happened to be the funniest person in our family. Thank you for all love and joy you brought to my life.
I'll love you forever. See you in heaven....

No words can express how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your amazing and beautiful momma. Your momma was the type of women that could just light up a room with her infectious smile and it shows in all the photos of her. Those are the true and special memories that have been captured over the years. I’m sure there are many more and probably too many to count. But each of those memories are all special in there own way. The memory that stands out for me and I will never forget is how your parents were always so gracious and kind to me. They made everyone feel like they were apart of the family and that’s a rarity these days. ❤️ Momma is now reunited again with the love of her life and they are at peace amongst all the angels! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you always. 🙏🏼

The first time I met Aunt Henriette was in Beek en Donk, Netherlands in the early 1950's. My Uncle John had taken me on a bike ride to the local village park. My future Aunt was waiting for my Uncle John. He told her that I was the son of his sister Nonnie my Mom. She was all smiles and pinched my cheeks, something she did for a couple of years as a greetings. I so loved her smiles something that I will remember forever.

I had first met Mrs Bonte summer of 79. I was invited into their home by Hanny for an evening just to hang out. She was hands down the funnest parent i had ever met in my life! Just forever warming personality, always with a child like giggle and superb sense of humor. She had this way of making everyone feel like a rockstar. I had never experienced the won- tons made before and lets just say Hanny was going to have a helper - her Mom. I instantly loved her like all the Bonte’s and i knew immediately where they all received there charm and wit, and when needed spark. To her loved ones -Mrs Bonte’ s full of life spirit will always be in my heart, and she will always be in your bones- and this is a true blessing. May she now rest in heavenly peace forever.

I have such fond memories of Henrietta. I first met her working Bingo for the Santa Clara Vanguard. She volunteered her time every Saturday night and back then, she and I worked together at the cash register She worked very hard and always had a fun spirit about her. I also new her children through the Vanguard. She and her daughter Hanny once invited me join the family for Thanksgiving dinner. Henrietta, welcomed me without question. She open her home up to me. She and the family always made me feel so welcome. Henrietta was a kind, spirited and loving person. Rest in peace, sweet lady.
