Jeanette C. Vieira

Jeannette C. Vieira of Santa Clara, CA, age 76, passed away on August 26, 2023. She was born on July 16, 1947. Jeannette had a fun loving personality and enjoyed life to the fullest. Jeannette is survived by her brother Steve, sister-in-law Janet, and brother-in-law Fred; daughter Wendie; granddaughters Maddison and Mikayla; nephews Jeffery, David, and Steven; as well as great-nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Air Force veteran James Vieira.

Jeannette loved her career as an account assistant and had a passion for numbers. She was known for her lightning-fast skills on a 10-key calculator. She found joy in her work and was dedicated to her profession. Jeannette worshiped anywhere she was with her family. Her family was her pillar of support and she cherished the time spent with them.

In her free time, Jeannette loved being a grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, and cousin. She found happiness in watching the children play and being an integral part of their lives. Jeannette had a special tradition of writing jokes on Halloween cards for them, bringing smiles to their faces. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Santa Clara Lima Family Mortuary. Following the service, a celebration of her life will take place at 4:00 PM at the Santa Clara American Legion.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice or to one of Jeannette's favorite charities, such as St. Jude or any Veteran charity. Contributions made in her memory will help continue the causes she held dear. Jeannette C. Vieira will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
