Jennie Vee Almeida

Jennie was born in San Jose, California, to her late mother, Barbara Harrenstein. At the young age of 16, she married her husband, Osvaldo “Ozzie” Almeida. They shared a life of 40 years, raising a family and building a home filled with love, laughter, and tradition. Jennie dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.

She will always be remembered for her open heart, her boundless love, and the way she welcomed and cared for everyone unconditionally.

Jennie is survived by her husband, Osvaldo “Ozzie” Almeida, and their children Ashley, Samantha, Antonio, Manuel, Michaela, and Clarissa. She is also lovingly remembered by her son-in-laws, Bobby Fernandez and John Flores; her daughter-in-law, Julie Almeida; and her cherished grandchildren, Ariana, Emily, Alena, Johnny, Aveya, Matthew, Maria, and Joseph.

She is further survived by her sister, Trudi Smith; her brother, Scott Harrenstein; and her beloved nieces and nephews: Amanda, Andrew, Tyler, Jorge, Gabriel, Adrian, and Ezekiel. Each of them carries with them memories of Jennie’s love, laughter, and guidance.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Lima Family Mortuary Home, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050.

The Rosary will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception at Palermo Italian Restaurant, 791 Auzerais Ave, San Jose, CA 95126

Jennie’s life was a testament to love and family, and she will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
