John Robert McCall

John Robert McCall, 51 beloved husband, father, son, brother, nephew, godfather and friend entered into rest on Saturday, January 18, 2014. John is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Mary Bettencourt McCall and beloved children Timothy and Ashley. His caring mother Glenda McCall and siblings Sharon (Dennis) McCall, Laurie McCall and Christopher (Shannon) McCall, Brother-in-law Joe (Clara) Bettencourt. He will be dearly missed by many godchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his father Glen McCall, nephew Michael Brenneke and In-laws Jose and Leonor Bettencourt.

John worked for Multitest Technologies for over 10 years as a supervisor. He enjoyed the great outdoors: hiking, biking, beach trips, muscle cars, cooking, family road trips, rock music, going to Van Halen concerts, and lets not forget his love for the San Francisco Giants and 49er’s.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Evening Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. with Funeral Service and Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at St. Clare Parish, 941 Lexington St., Santa Clara. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ASPCA or Silicon Valley Humane Society in John’s memory for the love he shared for his pets, Holly, Peanut and Buttercup.
