Jack was a brick mason for more than 40 years, and often described himself as an artist of the burnt clay. His meticulous brickwork can still be found in prominent structures throughout the Bay Area. He was a founding member of St. Justin’s Parish Stablemates, a member of the YMI, SIRS, VFW, Knights of Columbus, and St. Joseph-Notre Dame Hall of Fame.
He was formally recognized for his service to his Country by the City of Santa Clara, Mission College Valor Center, Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation, and named “Veteran of the Year” by the California Legislative Assembly (District 25).
Jack lived a kind and grateful life. He loved God, Country, his Family and his many Friends. The Moore Family is especially grateful to his niece, Dr. Susan Frayne, the medical staff at Kaiser Santa Clara, VA-Palo Alto, and the compassionate caregivers at Caring Hearts in San Jose.
