14 agosto, 1940 – 16 febrero, 2026
Obituario de Joseph Lopez Corpuz
EN EL CUIDADO DE

Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary

Surrounded by love Joseph Corpuz, age 85, passed away on February 16, 2026. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Peggy, of 65 years, who passed away just five short months ago. Their love was beautiful, genuine, and those who knew them knew they were never meant to be apart—two hearts that truly belonged together.

Joseph was a devoted husband, a loving father to three amazing children, a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Family meant everything to him, and his love was evident in the way he showed up for those he cared about.

In his later years, Joseph faced significant health challenges, which he met with strength and determination. He fought bravely through difficult times while maintaining his dignity and doing his best to take each day as it came.

Joseph had a great sense of humor and a saying for just about everything. His old-school playful expressions brought laughter even when things got rough. One of his favorite sayings was, "up a creek without a paddle," it became part of the stories and memories his loved ones will always carry with them.

A hardworking and honest man, Joseph spent many years working in retail, most memorably he was the night manager at Safeway in the produce department for 20 plus years. After retirement he enjoyed part time work at Home Depot, where his strong work ethic and genuine kindness left a lasting impression. He loved to talk to people and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He also had a love for woodworking. With patience and pride, he enjoyed working with his hands, creating and fixing things that reflected his skills. Woodworking was more than a hobby for him—it was something that brought him peace and purpose, and many of his creations remain as lasting reminders of his talent and creativity.

He had a natural way of connecting with people and making them feel at ease. Even in the nursing home, Joseph always tried to stay positive. He was well loved by the staff and brought light to those around him. Joseph will be remembered as a beautiful, fun, loving soul with a quick wit and a generous heart. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched. He will be greatly missed.
