husband Jim at her side. Judi was born in San Jose, CA. on October 31st,
1944. Needless to say, Halloween was her favorite holiday.
Judi met Jim on a blind date in 1962, it must have been love at first
sight as they were married on November 8th, 1963.
Judi was the General Manager of Hunter Technology, in Santa Clara, from
1971 to 1987; taking a struggling company and turning it into one that
became very profitable. While at Hunter, she helped several employees
achieve U.S. citizenship and obtain their CA drivers licenses. Not only
did she consider them employees, but also friends. You would often find
her playing Texas Hold 'Em during lunch. She also enjoyed being part of
the Thursday night "Hunter" bowling team, she really loved that team.
Upon her retirement, horses became her passion. She and her "horsey
girlfriends", Charleen, Cathy and Diane, never tired of riding the trails
of Quicksilver Mines, in Los Gatos.
Judi's horse is named Harley, one of her favorite things to say was " My
Harley has hooves".
Judi also loved travelling with Jim in their RV. Along with their dogs
Sam and Lucy, they were fortunate to be able to visit all 50 states.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Delores Hunter.
She is survived by Jim, her husband of 47 years. Two brothers, Reggie
Hunter and wife Sharon of Modesto. Jeff Hunter and wife Suzanne of Idaho
as well as Nephews Matt, Bret, Brad and Jerry.
Judi was simply a caring, fun, quick witted and unpretentious gal who had
a true zest for life. I would like to thank "My Wudi" for a wonderful,
beautiful ride.
