Kenneth Earl Ritter, 76, of San Jose, California, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2024. He was born In Danville, Illinois, on June 16, 1947, to Kentral Ritter and Mary Ellen Whitlock. Ken attended Hammond Technical/ Vocational High School and Purdue University. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Ken moved to Santa Clara, California, and worked for Container Corporation of America/ Jefferson Smurfit as a Production Manager Engineer. In his free time, he enjoyed reading the newspaper daily, fishing in the lakes, camping, and traveling. Most of all, he cherished his family home life. He is survived by his wife, Filomena Maria (Freitas) Ritter and his son Phillip Michael Ritter, and also by his three brothers, Timothy Ritter, Keith Ritter and Brian Ritter. He is deeply missed by his loved one. May he rest in peace.
A funeral service for Kenneth Earl Ritter will be held on February 9th, 2024, at 11:30am at Lima family Santa Clara Mortuary, located at 466 N. Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA. Following the funeral service, a burial will be held at 2pm at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, located at 490 Lincoln Street, Santa Clara, CA
