

Marisa (Lencioni) Masini , 84, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, in San Jose, California and is now at peace and reunited with her beloved husband Duilio Masini, grandson Mark Masini, parents Gino and Menica (Menicucci) Lencioni, and younger brother Pierluigi Lencioni.
Born on April 2, 1941 in Lunata, Lucca, Italy, Marisa lived a life marked by dedication and grace. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and as of last year, great grandmother!
Marisa is survived by her children and grandchildren whom she deeply loved and who loved her in return: Amy Masini Perez (Melchor) of Morgan Hill, Paolo Masini (Christine) of Santa Barbara, and Monica Masini Silva (David) of San Jose; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Klug and Kevin Klug (Leila); Doug Masini, ✩Mark Masini, Megan Masini Caretto (Theo), and Mara Masini Files (Tye); Nicholas Silva (Sarah), Marisa Silva Olmedo (Elias), and Dante Silva; great grandchildren Eleanor Caretto and Sophia Klug.
Marisa was adored by—and adored—her sister, Lily Lencioni and her late husband Guerrino Baronti of Lucca, Italy, her late brother Pierluigi Lencioni and his wife Clementina, of Lammari, Lucca, Italy, her in-laws Maria Navarini and her late husband Giovanni of Campbell, CA, and Luigi and Rosanna Masini of Lammari, Lucca, Italy. All of her nieces and nephews were precious to Marisa as well.
Marisa married her beloved Duilio on September 12, 1959. They created a family in Chicago, Illinois, and then moved to San Jose, CA in 1975. They enjoyed 42 beautiful years together until Duilio’s passing in 2002. Their life together was a charming love story filled with laughter and precious memories and now, their eternal life together has just begun.
As matriarch of the Masini family, Marisa was known for her exquisite skills as a cook, and she definitely knew how to host a party! Her children and grandchildren each had favorite dishes she would often make for holiday gatherings or other special occasions.
A Rosary will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at St. Clare Parish. Burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery will be at 12:30PM. Following the burial, a celebration for family and friends will be held at Giorgio's Italian Restaurant (San Jose) to honor Marisa's life and legacy.
