A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Mary Evangelho, 93, also known as “Sugar” by her family, passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2014, being reunited with her beloved son, Virgel. She and her loving husband of 72 years, Manuel, raised 4 children and provided love & care to 26 grand & great-grandchildren. She worked for CA Canners for 33 yrs. Mary lived a life with an emphasis on love & family and enjoyed years of happiness dancing, traveling, bowling & many activities & clubs. Mary was the center, the very Heart, of her family and will be forever loved and missed. She is survived by her husband, Manuel; children Darlene, Doris Hencken (Bob), Gary (Angela), Chris, grandchildren, sister Anne & many others. Services include a Rosary, Thursday, July 24, 7pm @ Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester; Mass Friday, July 25, 10 am @ St. Justin’s Parish, 2655 Homestead, Santa Clara.
