A Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away at home with his family and dogs, Bella & Daisy by his side. Michael was born in San Francisco went to Mission High and John O’Connell Trade School. When he was 16 years old his Father’s company moved to San Jose and he graduated from Samuel Ayer High School in Milpitas. At 18 he joined the US Army and was stationed in the Loire Valley of France. He had numerous jobs in Silicon Valley eventually driving for United Parcel Service retiring in 2000 after 25 years. Loving his retirement, Michael worked part-time at GMC on Stevens Creek as a shuttle driver, traveled with his wife to many destinations in Europe and the United States. Always working on a project around the house especially with wood working and developing a interest in gardening. Nothing could compare with his love of fishing especially the last few years at Buzzards Bay, MA with family. He leaves behind his best friend and love of his life for 29 years Pat “Tricia” Oliver. Survived by Daughters, Marnie (Kevin) Serr, Denyse (David) Kroll, Christina (Paul) Rasieleski, Katherine (Amber) Abbott. Grandchildren: Carson, Jake, Kylie, Sophia, Talia, Sara, Ryan and Eric. and his loving sister and brother-in-law Dixie and Mackie Taylor. Michael was lucky to have many wonderful friends and family. He will be missed by all. Celebration of Michael's Life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Marianis Inn and Resturant in Santa Clara.
