Paul was a good friend of our family from YMI Reunion retreat days. He is in my prayers, I will have Masses said for him and your family. Not surprised with the many holy endeavors in his life, to bring Christ to others…thank you Paul for being a good friend and a good example to everyone.

I knew Paul, along with my brothers in New Adam, a men’s group in Nashville, TN. We had the privilege to walk with him as he was letting go of his earthly life. The night he passed, we had the honor of praying with Paul, and reading from Scripture. We met Olga along those last few weeks, an amazing woman & sister in Christ. What comfort comes from walking this life with brothers that love well. It was beautiful to be with Mary Loretta, his delightful sister as Paul was letting go. I will see you soon Paul. I love you.

This  is Ann O'Donnell, a name that may bring a lot of memories of the YMI that many of you participated in. I have truly fond memories of Paul. He kept contact over the years, also letting me know what he was doing and about your parents deaths... He was  a good man, a man seeking his place, and always through his faith. His gentleness will be missed in this world. May he rest in peace, no longer to suffer in this world.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine what you folks are going through. I am truly sorry.

From what I remember from high school, Paul was a good guy and we were buddies those 40 some years ago. Paul and I met when we took the same chemistry class taught by Mr. Wilson. We were lab partners. Paul was very studious and a great student while I was the class clown and future dropout. Paul and I both enjoyed Rubik’s Cubes and the school had what the administration called a radio station. Paul and I would spend our lunch breaks there goofing off. Paul took Spanish and I would tease him and call him, “Poco de Rosa.”

I was thinking about Paul and some of the other people that populated our lives back in the day. I had only a few friends, much like the present, and I was happy to count Paul among them. From what I read in the obituary, I was not at all surprised at what fine man Paul turned out to be.

Very sorry to hear about Paul.  I remember Paul and Mary Loretta from Denman Day School. The memories from decades ago are still there. Rest In Peace.

I am so deeply and profoundly affected and saddened by Paul's death. My heartfelt condolences go to the Rose family. Paul was my best friend throughout my childhood and early adolescence since we met at Denman Day School. He and his home in Saratoga and his family became my second family. I spent countless days and nights there sleeping over whenever I wanted and needed a break from my solitary and lonely existence with no siblings and two blind parents who couldn't drive me anywhere. In return, Paul would always come to my house whenever he needed a break from all his brothers and sisters. So many memories -- from traveling with the family to Turlock to visiting Great America to attending a Stanford football game with Paul and his father to standing in line all day to see the second "Star Wars" film and me teaching Paul all about the Beatles and their music to Paul's confirmation and party afterward. The world is a much less kind place without him and heaven I'm sure is that much brighter. He will be greatly missed.

I met Paul when I was about 14 years old. We worked together at OLOP,  in the original gift shop. Through the years, we became very good friends. He came to the hospital when I had my first child, was at my wedding, and we were in the young adult group together. Paul was always a joy to be around; we laughed all the time....I can picture his smile, even now. How he exemplified the Catholic way of life by living his faith, everyday, was truly inspirational. His family was a big part of my faith formation and he will always be remembered as a true friend. 🩵 Rest in peace, dear Paul.

I am so sorry to hear about Paul! He was a wonderful person and a great friend. Some of my most treasured memories are of working with him to run the young adult group at Our Lady of Peace. He will always be in my heart. I will be praying for his soul and for your family! Lots of love! I am sorry that I cannot be there to say my goodbyes and give you all hugs!
