Peter passed away peacefully at his home in Oceanside, CA at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gabriella, his two sons Alexander and Patrick, his daughter-in-law Erica, and his granddaughter Gianna. He was extremely proud of his U.S. Army service in Panama at the end of World War II, where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. In 1947, he returned home to San Jose and embarked on a career with Bank of America. He joined Santa Clara University in 1963 and started the school's Personnel Department, where he worked until his retirement in 1989. Peter was a kind and generous man, a dedicated father, and a loyal husband. He spent his final two years living in Southern California, surrounded by his loving family who will dearly miss him and his sincere, beaming smile.
Rosary service will be on Thursday, October 25th at 6:00 P.M. (visitation 3 - 6 pm) at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA. Blessing and funeral will be on Friday, October 26th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Clare Chapel at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA.
