Primitiva Bosas Valdez

Primitiva Bosas Valdez passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2014. Primitiva also known as Eva or Ebang, was born in Abra, Philippines on February 24, 1955. Parents Jose and Concepcion Bosas born child number 3 into a family of 9. They moved from the Philippines to Oahu, Hawaii in 1969 where she attended Kaimuki High School. At the age of 18, Eva met Donnie Boy living in the same housing compound in Molili.Two years later they married at City Hall of Honolulu before relocating to Santa Clara, California in 1980 where they resided permanently.In her early years, Eva worked for several electronic companies throughout Silicon Valley such as AMD and Read Rite. Until accepting a job offer for Kaiser Permanente. Eva enjoyed taking annual road trips and going on vacation with family and friends. Her other hobbies included majong, casinos, & payot. Battling her first ailment in 1995, Eva came out a survivor of breast cancer. In the years following she overcame kidney failure, diabetes, emergency open heart surgery, hand and toe amputation, and colon cancer. In 2013 an aggressive liver cancer had spread which led to her passing from cardiac arrest.She is survived by her husband Llanilo (Donnie) Valdez; children Edwin, Mira, Sandy, and Ronalyn. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Jaren Ikaika Valdez age 12, and Kalei Valdez Sanchez age 1.
