Richard Bernard Marasco

Richard was suddenly called home to be with our lord on December 12, 2015 at the age of 82. Richard was born February 25, 1933 to Jasper & Antoinette Marasco in San Jose, CA. He was the youngest of 8 children. Richard was a kind, gentle, loving and generous family man. Family was important to him, and keeping them close and safe was his main concern. He loved hiking, collecting golf balls and sports. But most of all he enjoyed family gatherings. He enjoyed planning and looked forward to the family reunion each year. He was the perfect brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Richard was the kind of man others wish they could be. The world is now an emptier place because heaven has just gained an angel. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Josephine Marasco. Richard is survived by his children, Michael Marasco (Laurie), Jeff Marasco (Coco) and Dianne Guertner (Chris), his grandchildren Matthew Guertner (Jessica), Amber Van Deren (Chad), Shelley Lantrip (Andy), Paul Marasco (Jaclyn) his grandpuppy Sunshine Marasco, and his great grandchildren Kaitlyn Van Deren, Breyana Lantrip, Cole Van Deren, Carson Marasco, Sada Guertner, Jacson Marasco and his loving companion of 14 years, Mary Davis.
