

Robert L. Enos 4/18/1924 - 2/7/2010 Born in Santa Clara to Eugene and Mary Enos. At the time of his birth, Bob's parents lived in a small house on Jefferson St. in Santa Clara . The house is now the "Berryessa Adobe", a historical landmark. A lifetime resident of Santa Clara , Bob graduated early from Santa Clara High School to enter the Army in 1943. He served in Luzon and New Guinea as a cook, and was awarded 2 Bronze Stars. Upon his discharge in 1946, Bob worked for PM Mfg. until 1950, when he went to work for his parents at their business, Santa Clara Lumber Company, where he worked until his retirement. He was a member of American Legion Post 419, VFW, Carpenters Union, Portuguese American Club, and a past member of the Santa Clara PD PAL Board of Directors. Bob, known to his family as "Big Louie", was preceded in death by his grandson Brian Enos. He is survived by sons Bill (Frankie), Mike (Vicki) and Jim (Diana); daughters Mickey Davisson (George), Jenny Enos, Mimi Wicker, Barbara Enos, and Teri Allen (Tom); sisters Eldine Fernandes and Kathy Burgle; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Vigil, Monday 2/15/10 at 7 pm (visitation 6-9 pm) at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Funeral Mass, Tuesday 2/16/10 at 10 AM at St. Clare Church, 941 Lexington St. in Santa Clara. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley or the American Cancer Society.
