Jack was a long time Ohio State Buckeye, where he earned degrees in Education and a Doctorate of Dentistry. He served in WWII in the Philippines. Army 2nd Lt Infantry Unit Commander 1542 until wounded in action, earning a Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Service Stars. He was a proud descendent of the Nooksack tribe.He was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life Marjorie "Marge," and his sons Gene, DT and Danny. He is survived by brother Ted Miller, daughters Diana Baker and husband John, Sabine Miller; grandchildren Rolando Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Justin Baker, Brian Baker, Kristina Gordon and husband Dennis; great grandchildren Korina Miller, Lily Gordon and soon to arrive Baby Boy Gordon.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00PM, Tuesday Feb 3, 2015 at Lima Family Santa Clara followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos, CaliforniaIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 455 Market St, Ste. 1190, San Francisco CA 94105.
