It has been over 25 years since we worked with Ron at Intel and we were saddened to hear he had passed. We wished we would have kept in contact over the years. There are many great memories of Ron that are in our hearts but the one thing that was certain was his love for you. Working swing shift together, he used to talk about you all the time. It was a priviledge for her to have Spot as one of her basketball coaches. He helped so many kids and always gave so generously of his time and he will truly be missed.

I last saw Ron on June 29th, 2010. It was the eve of a Dodgers sweep over the Giants at AT&T park and though confined to a hospital bed, he was in great spirits. 

He was always, always rippin on me and my Giants for years. We played softball together and when applicable, he ripped on me then too.

Well…..I truly feel ripped now. Ripped off if you will. A great guy taken away from us much too soon and well before his time.

He will be missed. On and off the court/field/stream/Stick/Tank…...

I worked with Ron for 5 years @VLSI and I just want to say he was a joy to work with. And his passing has saddened many.

I remember vividly the time at Buck Shaw Stadium when Ron and I were watching Willie Mays take batting practice from just beyond the left field fence. Willie smashed one in our direction and the only thing which prevented me from that ball was Ron's barehanded catch in front of me. My sincerest sympathies to the family. I grew up with his brother Gary.

I worked with Ron at VLSI for many years. I hope the memories bring you comfort as you go through these tough days.  I know he is in heaven, watching over his family and friends.

Julie, Tyler & Brett,  First I have to say that my Cousin Ron did not lose his battle with ALL he simply ran out of time to continue the fight.  Second, He had bravery beyond brave.  He had courage beyond courageous.  He was valiant and vigilant in his fight...because he wanted to stay with all of you!  I can only offer my heart-felt sympathy and from my vantage point Ron was so blessed to have you as his wife and sons!  Just as you were blessed to have him as your husband and father. Julie, Tyler and Brett,
We are mourning the passing of Ron.  Starting out at Intel in the early 80’s we met up with Ron and Julie.  We enjoyed many vacations with Ron on House boats, water skiing, and snow skiing.  He was my best man in my wedding and I was his best man.  He was a genuine sports fanatic and all around great guy and coach.  He was truly gifted when it came to sports.  He was always there to motivate and encourage you as you took on sports activities above your ability.
We will be praying for you and miss him dearly.
