When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little--but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me--but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss Me - But Let me Go!
Sophie was lovingly known as “Ciocia” which means “aunty” in Polish. She was born in Poland and came to this country as a young woman in her early 20’s. Sophie loved to work, first as a technician for an electronic company and later in the food industry. She refused to let age define her and continued to work until the very end. Work was her passion and every day completed her duties to the best of her abilities. We, her family, are happy to know that she had a long and healthy life. Her life was simple but full of the things and people she cared about.
Sophie was preceded in death by her parents, Janina and Ludwig; her brothers, Frank and Stanley; and be her nephew, Edward. Ciocia is survived by his loving nephew Jack Biesiadecki who cared for her during the last several years of her life; her sister-in-law Czeslawa (Theresa) Biesiadecki who lovingly cared for her during her last moments; and her grandniece and grandnephew Nyssa and Mathew Biesiadecki. She will be missed by Jack’s children Emma, Madison and baby Jack.
