It is with heavy hearts we share the news of Steve Hinson's passing Friday, January 8, 2021. Steve was surrounded by his loving wife Linda, and his two amazing daughters, Nicole and Natalie. Steve's battle with cancer took him from us far too soon, but his spirit will forever live on. He'll be with us every time we hear a Rush song come on, see a Batman logo, watch a beautiful mustang cruise by, find a tiki too cool to pass up or see a hand built, custom model car. We will miss Steve dearly, but are thankful for all of the time we did have with this amazing human being. Steve was a simple man, who loved his daughters, wife, son in laws and grandson more than anything. We wish we could have more time with him. We find peace in our hearts knowing he is no longer in pain and he never gave up in his fight. There will always be a void left by the man who was bold enough to be himself in every moment. A man who started with very little, but surpassed many challenges and created a life he was proud of. He was able to love unconditionally and be a role model for many. He was a man's man, who was stubborn, smart, creative, unique, loving, caring, inspiring and passionate. We appreciate everyone's grace and support during a very difficult time. We will keep all apprised of a celebration of life to be held at a later time when we can all gather safely.

Steve. You made Model building fun and our friendship was special to me. Through all the years we had contacts I appreciated everyone of them.
Those lunches at Casper's Make me smile Now , Know you drove the distance to get a special Casper's Hot Dog.
I treasure that time you flew out to ST Joseph Mo. to attend the Model show I put on.. Thank you. Us visiting Pete and Jake's and getting to sit in the California Kid Hot rod. Build on..
