

Thomas Galen Myers Jr., 74 years old, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2015, in the Myers' family home in Los Gatos, which he shared with his companion Ms. Juanita Zuniga. Mr. Myers will be missed by his sister, Mrs. Barbara Easley, his two sons, Thomas G. Myers III and Terrence G. Myers, granddaughter Lauren Ashley Myers, nieces, nephews, and their respective families. Mr. Myers' childhood and majority of adulthood were spent helping maintain the family's prune and apricot orchards, as did many valley farmers. He was a graduate of Camden High School, Class of '59. While at Camden High School, Mr. Myers nurtured his love for football. which made him an asset to SJCC and SJSU football teams, ultimately. Eventually, his knowledge of the sport enabled him to referee high school and college games. In turn, opening doors to duties as an official for the World Football League, USFL, Arena Football and the NFL. Beyond his refereeing commitments, Mr. Myers established businesses in liquor and car sales, which became mainstays in Santa Clara County. Mr. Myers' family is grateful to the friends, that were there to the end, with encouragement and love, to get "the ball back into play". Family and friends are invited to celebrate Thomas G. Myers Jr.'s life at the Memorial Service on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 1:00PM at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, 15333 Woodard Rd., San Jose.
