Victor Salinas, Sr. of San Jose, California. Born April 7, 1937 in Dilly, Texas and raised in Fresno, California. Went to be with the Lord at age 81 on July 28, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, Aurelia Vera “Bella” Salinas and his brother Juan Salinas and his children, Victor Jr., Raul, Belinda, Edward and by marriage Bernardo, Ishmael and Abel Lujan. He is survived by nine grandchildren: Bernardo III, Teresa, Anthony, Melissa, Ian, Esai, Christopher, Seth and Nia and nine great-grandchildren: Jaelyn, Lynn, Zoey, D.J., Elijah, Logan, Elena, Payton and Elesio. Long-standing member of Painters Union Local 507. Member of Bethel church and Act II. He was one of the best professional painters ever. Ask anyone. He was always willing to give a helping hand to family, friends or strangers in need. He loved golf. He would say, “I am a senior. I need a handicap.” He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and he will be missed.
