Tim- It was great to see you today.I just wanted to say how much I liked your Mom and Dad, they were amazing people and they treated me as another Son. Of all of my Bellarmine classmates parents, I felt the most comfortable with and around them.I looked for Lise but I didn't find her, not that she would remember me as I think we met like once a long time ago.You and your family did a great job today paying respect to a great man and father.

Having just heard of Bill's passing he was fine a human being as we were fortunate to know. He was a terrific friend of my parents and was always there to host a bridge game or lend a hand. Although it's been many years, I always looked forward to our occasionally doubles tennis games and remember the banter fondly. Our best to the Crowley Family.

We will miss you Bill.  You were the "heart and soul" of the Bronco Bench in so many ways.  "Win or lose" you and Mary were always smiling at the SCU basketball games.
Good luck on your heavenly journey as you smile down on your great family and continue to cheer the Bronco's "on ward".

Bill Crowley was a wonderful man !  I am so grateful to have had him in my life. He taught me so much about people and how to love one's family. We shared something special regarding, faith, Santa Clara, college sports and a wee bit more. I enjoyed so much sharing life with him, A Blessed Soul, Indeed ! The memories are grand.  Slainte`

I am so sorry to have to miss the celebration of Bill's life. Please know that I am grateful to Bill and the rest of the Crowleys for giving us so much laughter, love, and community over so many years. The Crowleys are an awesome family and I know your service will be a fitting tribute to such a beloved man. My love to all, especially to Mary.

Such a beautiful family because of Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary Rose.  I will always associate the sweetness of strawberries with Uncle Bill and he will always be remembered with fondness and love.  Our prayers to all of you.  Love Paul and Kate Coates

It's hard to know where to begin when you speak about a great man like Bill Crowley. He was a hard worker who had a deep sense of loyalty and devotion to his beautiful wife, Mary, and his children. If you were lucky enough to be a guest at their energetic dinner table, that was a real treat. "Mr. Crowley" had an acute sense of humor that was unmatched, and he was a tireless servant to his community. Bill and Mary were an amazing team, and together they represent everything that was considered good and honorable from my past. They were the best of friends to my parents, "Tommy and El", as Bill affectionately called them, and I can only imagine the reunion they are having on the other side. Bill left a strong legacy of  love, laughter, and spirituality, and the Kenter family will miss him very much.

My dad Fran Murphy and Bill were great friends at SCU.  I met Bill several times at the Crowley house in San Jose and our home in San Francisco when is was a child.  Of course the Crowley home in San Jose was always non stop action.   Later I attended SCU, and my best friend from SCU grew up next store to the Crowley's.  I can't imagine how much fun it must have been on that block with great men like Leo Murphy and of course Bill Crowley holding court!!!

Your Dad's legacy will live on through those great, smiling Irish eyes of his whose memory will forever bring joy to many of us.  We owe a lot to him and the rest of that great generation.

Beach Drive, Aptos, will never be the same, but The Irish Open will continue as a legacy to Bill's wonderful warmth toward all and his devotion to the Broncos.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I know what a bright being Mr. Crowley was. I pray that you are surrounded by the love and support you need at this time and that Mrs. Crowley is comforted by your loving presence. With my best wishes, Mary Anne

Dan and All - we both lost great men this week. They lived life to the fullest but the pain is still there and they will be missed.   I am thinking of Bill and all of you this week.

I am sad to hear of Bill's passing. Although I only met him twice at Santa Clara Football events I will always remember him telling the story about making a touchdown against UCLA. With a twinkle in his eye he relayed to us how after scoring the TD one of his blockers came up to him and said "You were so slow that I had to block the same UCLA defender 3 times while we waited for you to reach the goal line!!" A big smile followed.

Thank you for this fond memory of old time Santa Clara.

Warm thoughts and prayers to the entire Crowley clan.  Losing a parent is so very difficult, but find strength in each other...your family has always been so amazing....and comfort in the the wonderful memories of the many years you shared with your Dad.

We extend our sympathy to the entire Crowley family. Bill was a gift and will be remembered for his kind and cheerful connection to all he met. One of the kindest men I have known. I am so so sorry for your loss. "Mr. Crowley,"  was a good man; so gracious and caring. He was also my wonderful Godfather and drove me to the church on my wedding day. You have a beautiful family. The warmth and love felt when viewing the photos is a testament to your father's love and guidance. God bless the Crowley family.

We are so sad to hear about the passing of our wonderful friend & neighbor.  We loved seeing him & Mrs. Crowley at St. Martins mass, across the street at the Swensons or walking by their  home.
