

Katherine Windsor Junger, born in Middletown, Ohio on February 3, 1946 and died November 8, 2012 in Pacific Palisades, California. Beloved wife of George Junger for 44 years. Mother of Kristina (Todd) Godfrey of Corona del Mar, California; Michael (Lindsy)Junger of Pacific Palisades, California and Anthony Junger of Los Angeles, California; and grandchildren, Dylan (8), Tyler (6) and Chance (1) Godfrey, Owen (7), Wyatt (6) and Ryland (4) Junger.
Kathy grew up in Encino, California, daughter of Bob and Audrey Windsor, both deceased. She is also survived by her sister Charlotte Stradtman of Irvine, CA and brother Dan Windsor of Chicago, Illinois.
Kathy graduated from Birmingham High School in 1963 and after attending Pierce College, worked at Marsteller Advertising in Los Angeles where she met George, her husband to be. They were married in 1968 and moved to Pacific Palisades in 1972. Their children attended Corpus Christi and St. Martin of Tours schools and Palisades High School. For the past 24 years Kathy was bookkeeper/office manager for Westlan Construction in Pacific Palisades.
In addition to her loving family, Kathy leaves a large and diverse group of friends who will miss her deeply. She touched virtually everyone she met with her generosity, fun loving spirit and very caring nature. She was known for being a great non-judgmental listener who if asked, would dispense her simple but always insightful advice on how to solve personal problems and be happy in life.
Kathy passed away from bile duct and liver cancer, which was detected just 3 months ago. A Memorial Service will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Pacific Palisades on Friday, November 16 at 3:00 P.M.
