Alice Consuelo Herrera

Our beloved Mother Alice Consuelo Herrera passed away at the age of 88 on Monday, October 13 at the Greenfield Care Center, Fillmore, CA. Alice was born on January 9, 1926 in Santa Paula and was a longtime resident. Alice was primarily a home maker and worked part time for many years for Sunkist and the various agriculture processing companies of Ventura County.

She is preceded in Death by: Sabas S Herrera Jr. her Husband in 2005

She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Robert S. and Julia Herrera of Santa Paula,

Roger A. and Gerri Herrera of Montclair, VA., Ronald Herrera of Santa Paula, and Linda Rivera of Santa Paula. She also survived by four brother and five sisters, Joe Salazar of Sparks, NV. Leonard and Terry Salazar of Santa Clarita, CA, Johnny and Louisa Salazar of Bakersfield, CA., and Frank Salazar of Santa Paula. Sisters are; Bill and Belen Whitten burg of Miller, MO, Estella Arellano of Santa Paula, Benjamin and Maria Rivera of Santa Paula, Bill and Irma Lamey of Lancaster, CA, and Edward and Ida Mariscal of San Diego.

She also leaves behind 14 Grand Children and 43 Great Grand Children all living in California and Virginia.

Service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 10am at Skillin Carroll Mortuary in Santa Paula officiated by Pastor Reginald Mercado. Burial will follow at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.
