Alexander Joseph Cherp, 23, of Sarasota, Florida passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Alex was a loving son, grandson and nephew. He was a car enthusiast, political junkie and avid historian. Alex was a loving and kind soul and was a great animal lover. His bright smile lit up a room as soon as he entered. Alex is survived by his mother, Michelle Cherp; grandmother, Patricia Cherp and uncle, Chris Cherp. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at Mandeville Beer Garden, 428 N. Lemon Ave., Sarasota.
