Billy W. Avery 89, retired electrical engineer, died February 7, 2016 at the Douglas T.Jacobson State Veterans Home in Pt. Charlotte Fla. A native of Glen Park, Indiana, Mr Avery came to Ocala in 1989 from Nashua, N.H. Mr Avery was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ocala and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2009 in Rolling Greens Fl. He was a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of N.H. and was a US Air Force veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie B. Avery. Survivors include his three daughters Tamara(John) Fee of Kingston, N.H., Cynthia Brooks of Arcadia FL, Wendy Stossel(Henry) of Manchester N.H., two grandchildren Michael Perelgut(Jessica) of Plastow N.H. and Stephanie Gardella of Manchester N.H. and 2 great grandchildren Julia and Devon Perelgut of Plastow N.H. He has a brother, Bobby R Avery of St Charles Mo. , two sisters, J. Ruth Boswell of N Judson, Ind. and Shirley A Wickham of Crown Point, Ind. A brother John Avery of Crown Point and a sister Marion Tidwell of Merrillville, Ind.
