Chad passed away suddenly at the age of 48 in Sarasota, Florida on September 8th, 2024. He spent the first part of his life in Ontario, Canada where he grew up, went to school, enjoyed playing multiple sports, especially baseball. Chad moved to Florida almost 20 years ago to start a new life. He loved his furry friend Bearcat, continued playing softball year-round, still loved his Detroit Lions and was a proud manager at a local UPS Store.
Chad would help anyone with anything, he was loved by so many and with his infectious personality it will make him impossible to forget.
Chad is survived by his partner Brenda Rose, parents Howard and Ruth Sellick, Brother Colin and Cheryl Sellick, Nephews Cooper and Chase Sellick, Uncle David (Susan) Sellick, Auntie Heather (Rob) Ford, Uncle Ron (Linda) Rhoads, Cousins Jeff (Janine), Alexandra, Girard, Adam (Kirsten), Colleen and Jason (Tiana).
No service, cremation will take place.
For every burden that we bear,
for every sorrow, every care,
there’s a reason.
For every grief that bows the head,
for every teardrop that is shed,
there’s a reason.
For every hurt, for every plight,
for every lonely pain-racked night,
there’s a reason.
But if we trust God, as we should,
all must work out for our good.
He knows the reason.
