She believed in Jesus Christ and was involved in the Youth Group at Sarasota Church of Alliance where she participated in mission trips, Christian Youth conferences, and ministered the word of Christ to others. She was a member of Myakka Allstock 4H where she was involved in mini horses, dairy cows, pygmy goats, plants and baking. Delaney danced for 12 years at the Sarasota School of Dance, tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop, as well as competitive cheering at Funtastics Cheerleading. Most importantly, Delaney was in the drama program at Sarasota High School where she participated in the school productions, was part of the elite dance group of “Thriller” and was Dance Captain her senior year for the spring production of Aida. Delaney’s passion was theater, drama and all that it included. She was devoted to the drama program and thus our family’s choice for her memory to be honored through the memorial fund. The drama program will be dedicating the spring show of Les Miserables on opening night April 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Sarasota High School to honor Delaney. Please join us. Delaney also gave the gift of life as an organ donor. She is no longer with us however she has changed the lives of three other people through her generosity. She is our hero and we are so proud of the choice she made when she received her driver’s license. We will forever miss her deeply, and remember her beautiful smile, her red hair, her spunk, spirit, and her kindness to all. She was our beautiful angel from God.
