Edward J Renaud, Jr., 87, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Camden, ME, died on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. He was born in Dover, NH, son of the late Edward Joseph Renaud and Ethel Gault.
Mr. Renaud graduated from Dover High School and Keene Teachers College. Ed was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He spent many years as an administrator, teacher, and coach in NH schools. He later moved to Maine and concluded his career working in the rehabilitation field.
Upon retiring, he moved to Sarasota where he devoted much of his time to raising guide dogs for the blind under auspices of Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc.
He is survived by his partner of many years, Carolyn; a daughter, Lisa Renaud of Orchard Beach, ME; Sons, Kip of Marietta, GA and Kyle of Salem, NH, and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Seaview Cemetery in Camden, ME.
