She was born to Grace M. and Leon A. Dwan in Boston, Massachusetts. Grace is survived by her brother, Steve Dwan, her sister, Marilyn Dwan Kline (Ron), her step-sons, Christopher (Kathy), Stephen, and Sean Valentino, as well as many nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Boston College, Grace moved to Long Island, New York, to teach school. In addition to becoming an extremely successful advanced placement teacher, Grace also served as the faculty sponsor for the school newspaper and yearbook. Upon Rudy’s retirement from teaching, they relocated to Florida where Grace taught courses at Edison Community College. Grace will always be remembered for her generous heart, her compassion, and her ready laugh. She had the amazing ability to find the good in all of us.
