Jai'Shin Rashid Vinson was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at Holy Cross Hospital to Jarreau Vinson and Yoshina Cumberbatch.
Jai' was born prematurely only 11 ounces. Since the day he was born he had a warriors heart. Our angel spent 3 months at the Broward General Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. There he was given wonderful nursing care. With all the love and medical treatment, our son pulled through with very minimal ailments. Our family will forever be thankful to the wonderful medical team that helped our son back to good health.
Named by his father, his name, Jai' (pronounced Jah) means victory, Shin means trust, faith, & belief, Rashid means tightly guided, so our son was truly blessed for greatness.
Jah's paternal grandmother is Shirley Vincent. Momma Shirley always graced her grandson with a new nickname based on his growth. We all enjoyed those nicknames. Mrs. Shirley loved you Jah Jah and always looked forward to the next time she could see you again. Jah will run to you the day you arrive in Gods kingdom. Jah's Maternal grandmother is Mrs. Vincanna Godet (Jah Jah's Grandy). Grandy loved her grandson with an eternal love. Grandy cared for you Jah as if she had birthed you herself. Grandy was there since the day you took your first breath and there after she took care of you day in and day out faithfully.
Jai'Shin you are our God's sent Angel, we will forever remember that infectious smile that brought joy to all who were blessed to be around you. You will forever be in our hearts giving us the motivation to presevere with a purpose. We are celebrating your life today and welcoming you into God's arms.

My Angel
From the moment you came into this world, and
opened your big brown eyes, I knew that I was
looking at an Angel, because the heart it never lies.
Through all of life's hard struggles, the Angel has
always been there. Always hanging on when the
ride got rough, always showing how much he cares.
For life is a constant struggle, more now than ever
before. Much too hard for an Angel, oh how I wish I
could give him more.
The days they pass so quickly. Each one faster than
the last. But we know that we must go forward, and
not dwell on mistakes of the past.
And so we venture on through this hateful world,
though my Angel he is always calm. So I'll follow on
always together with this Angel, I am so proud to be
your mom.
