We called him Uncle Jimmy even though we were not related. So many memories, the tiki hut for grouper sandwiches, Paesanos restaurant where he always ordered the same thing, every time, linguine and clams with extra clams, how he adored our little wiener dog, Josie, and the feeling was mutual for her let me tell you, meeting everyone at secret spot A on the lake and tying up with all our boating friends, lodge night every Tuesday at Mo's shop, men only, that was the only rule. So many wonderful memories. He was a true friend and you could always count him, always, for anything. Our condolences to his entire family. Kim you and Jim were a team. So sorry for your loss. We both loved him and he will always be in our hearts.

Late summer always reminds me of 2 things that Jim or as we called him Jimmy B did.  First organizing trips to DiNardo’s for crabs and second was Shearing Christmas trees at his brothers farm. 
Good memories and a lot of fun. 
He had an infectious smile and riding out on pick up trucks with machetes was just part of experience. What a crew and so much fun. Seems like yesterday. 
Later we both ended up in Florida and would get stone crabs. 
Good solid memories.

Jimmy B as some of us know him by,, worked together for years. He organized trips to Di Nardo’s for great nights of fun and drink. Always a fun night with Jimmy. 
Also i remember sheering Christmas trees with him at his brother’s  farm and having a ball doing it. 
He will be missed but remembered!!

JimmyB, JimmyBones, JimB...doesn't matter what I called him, he was just the best friend to so many of us.  We did so many fun things together in high school; Flyers games, concerts and cruising in Jimmy's cars.  He was truly the "straw that stirred the drink".  He was also so very close to all of his family, and could always be counted on for whatever was needed.  My deepest thoughts and prayers to Kim, his daughters and the rest of his family...RIP Jimbo.

We will miss Jimbo  very much. Loved our bike rides to the Keys during a hurricane and to Daytona during a monsoon. He was a joy to be around. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kim , the girls and his family.

What wonderful memories I have from West Wynn neighborhood growing up together. Oh he could make us laugh and that smile lit up the room.  Way to young but he lived a great life as he shared with me a few years back. Love this family. Miss you. Love Susan

I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I remember him very fondly during our years together at SMS. He was a great and loyal friend to  the Mike Etue Florida gang.  Sincere condolences to his family. He was a good soul and will be missed. Peace and Hope....Terry

Jim had the best sense of humor. When he was in town for John & Denny’s wedding, Denny told him, “If you need anything or have any questions, just ask Patti.” I had some very funny phone calls and text messages from Jim the rest of the weekend and from time to time over that summer! We are so very sorry for all the Bauernschmidts, especially Kim! We wish you all peace & comfort! ❤️

Jim and Kim let us use their Sarasota house for our honeymoon. We will always remember it as an amazing trip that was made even nicer by having dinner with Jim for our last night. He was a generous and enjoyable guy who will be greatly missed. 

To my dearest friend Kim and her beautiful family. Words can't express my sorrow and heartfelt condolences.  What a beautiful person Jim was and such a loving and giving soul and to the bitter end of his journey he continued to look forward to his next adventure.  You are so blessed to have been able to share so many years with him and to have had him by your side in all the good times and rough times.  I know he loved you so dearly!  He now will watch over you and the girls from God's place! May he rest in peace.   


Jim was one of the best people I have ever known. He always helped me personally and professionally.  He never wanted or expected anything in return, he was just like that.

I took Jim to the Honda Classic, we watched golf and had a couple of drinks and it was a super fun.   He also stayed to have dinner with my entire family afterwards at the Outback in Palm Beach.  He just fit right in and was the center of the conversation, it was truly a great time.

I think about him often and will remember all the fun we had together.  He was like a big brother to me and will be missed.

Attached is a picture when we took Lee Ratliff to a Marlins game.  We had great seats in the first row and were right next to the dugout.  Jim was interviewed by the local TV station right before the game and made the news that night.

My heart is so saddened by the loss of Jimmy.
Gosh. . .when I reflect back to the many many times that he, as well as Bobby and Billy, spent time down at our House. . .great times.  
Most especially were they for Bob and Karen(my Brother and older Sister).

My heart is with ALL, in the many times you'll want  and need all the love & support to help get you thru.

I had the opportunity to work with Jim on various projects at SMS over the years. He was always enthusiastic and uplifting. I especially enjoyed seeing him occasionally at Concord Country Club when he was in town.

Jim worked with me at SMS corporate and later in the Ft. Lauderdale Office. We shared lots of good times especially diving in the beautiful waters  in the preserves of Florida.  He was a great friend and valuable employee.

i grew up with Jim in West Chester, PA.  We shared alot of time over 12-13 years.  I probably saw him almost every day.  We spent many New Years sleep overs together. We always bought 2 tubs of chocolate cool whip puddings along with chocolate donuts, soda, candy, etc.  We were usuualy too sick to see the ball drop on tv.   Great times.  He was one of my neighborhood brothers.  Sad to see him go.

What a great guy, we will miss you Jimmy! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 

I didn't see jim alot but we were friends for a long time.  And everytime we met we picked up right where we left off and there was a lot of laughing and good times.  Jimmy was a good guy.  Rest in peace my friend!
