Jim Thayer of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, formerly of Clarklake, Michigan, passed away March 23, 2017. Jim is survived by his Wife Linda, Sister, Shirley Young, Brother-in-law, John Riedel and his precious Tiger Lily. Also survived by several nieces & nephews as well as many wonderful friends in Michigan and Florida. Jim was a U.S. Army Paratrooper, a successful businessman, golfer, bicyclist, and avid reader. A celebration of life Mass will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2017 10 AM at the Church of St. Patrick. A Committal service will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery 1:30 PM.
