Joanne Regensburg of Sarasota passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She was born in Montreal, Canada on July 13, 1945, daughter of the late Trenholme and Margaret Lodge of Dorval, Canada.
Joanne became a nurse before moving to Sarasota in 1977.She was a nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for 28 years. She then went on to work as a medical insurance senior case manager at FCCI.
Joanne loved her Siberian Husky, Nikki.She enjoyed reading, photography, travel, and was an avid bird watcher. She was a master gardener who enjoyed meticulously caring for plants and flowers in her yard and community. Above all Joanne was a caring friend to everyone she met.
Joanne is survived by her loving husband Roger Regensburg of 46 years; her siblings, Trenholme Lodge, the late Terry Lodge (Colina), the late Beverly (James) Sutherland; Brother in law Bill (Carol) Regensburg; nieces Liane Lodge, Tamara Sutherland Nephews Michael Lodge, Clay Sutherland. Gone too soon, she will be dearly missed.
