Before retiring to Florida, Kim had a long career with Hercules, Inc. and its many spin-offs. While still working, she donated her spare time to the Junior Board of Wilmington. Kim volunteered countless hours at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Sarasota. She also very much enjoyed a daily water aerobics program at her community's clubhouse.
Kim was born in Charleston, West Virginia in 1944 and is survived by her son Michael, sister Anne Hershiser and brother Max Hoferer. She is predeceased by her husband Albert W. (Willis) Linder.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday, September 7 at 3pm at Limestone Presbyterian Church, 3201 Limestone Rd, Wilmington.
