Nancy P. Anderson, 97, of Sarasota, FL passed away on October 3, 2017. Nancy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and later, moved to New York City. Following graduation from Russell Sage College, she earned an M.A. from Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. During her career, Nancy had a private practice in speech therapy, and later, was a consultant to the departments of audiology and plastic and reconstructive surgery at NYU Faculty Practice Center, prior to becoming director of the Speech Rehabilitation Center in New York City. In her retirement in Siesta Key, Florida, Nancy cofounded the C.G. Jung Society of Sarasota, was a proponent of Jung psychology, engaged in stone sculpting and Asian ink art (Sumi-e), studied classical music, and finally wrote the book, It Just So Happened… A Synchronistic Journey, about the effects of unpredictable events in everyday life. Nancy is survived by her Brother, Frank Punderson; son, John Munroe and his wife Antje; daughter, Priscilla Parker; Grandchildren, Erik Munroe and wife Gail; Cliff Munroe and wife Michelle; and Great Grandson, Quintin Munroe.
