Richard B. Phillips (1944-2017) Richard B. Phillips, of Sarasota, FL and Eastham, MA, passed away January 31, 2017. RB, as he was known to family and friends, will be dearly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife. Kathryn S. Phillips; his son Brian S. Phillips and wife Mary of Pittsford, NY; his son David B. Phillips and wife Kristin of Fincastle, VA; and his sister Joan Person of Plymouth. He will be remembered with love by his grandchildren Alley, Hunter, Tabitha and Esther. RB was born in Norwich, CT on May 27, 1944, the son of Harold E. Phillips and Natalie B. Phillips. After graduating from Wilbraham Academy and St. Lawrence University he went on to a successful career as a Human Resources executive at Crane Co. RB loved life and lived every day to the fullest enjoying golf, kayaking, fishing, exercise and riding his Harley. He loved people and brightened everyone's day with his smile and generosity. He was special to all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be to Tidewell Hospice.
