There is a little less laughter in the world today as we say goodbye to Roger Vogel, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Everyone who was lucky enough to know him will remember him differently: a brilliant doctor, a talented musician, a wonderful artist, a committed drinking partner, an intrepid traveller, a constant joker, and a loyal and generous friend. To his family, he was, and will continue to be, our greatest inspiration. We will cherish all the lessons that he taught us- the value of hard work, the necessity of laughter, the benefits of kindness, and above all, the importance of love.
